The annual conference of the Central Council of the Employers of Australia resolved that the material welfare of the people engaged in all spheres of industry can only be improved by increased productivity, and this would best be achieved by payment by results, with recognition of mutual obligation by all parties to promote and attain efficiency.—A. & N.Z.
