VICTORIAN SEAMEN’S UNION’S DECISION.’ Melbourne, October 27. A stop-work meeting of the Victorian ! branch of the Seamen’s Union decided that in future individual members of the Union ’must not hold up ships on their own account, and all disputes must be referred to the local management committee of the Union, whose instructions must be regarded as final. This means the ebd of job control in the industry.—A. & N.Z.
