CALENDAR REVISION
LEAGUE OF NATIONS COMMITTEE UNSUCCESSFUL,. TWO HUNDRED SCHEMES EXAMINED. (Rec. 7.35 p.m.) Geneva, October 26. The League of Nations Committee after examining 200 schemes, reports that it is unable to suggest a reform of the calendar but recommends that Easter be fixed for the Sunday following the second Saturday .in April, which is favoured by religious, railway, scholastic, trade and travel organisations. The Roman Catholic Church disagrees traditionally.—A. and N.Z.
