The consolation prizes were won my Miss Tregilgus and Mr J. C. Corkin. In presenting the prizes, Mr G. McDermitt on behalf of the club made fitting remarks thanking the donors for their generosity and added that the club greatly appreciated their assistance and it was pleasing to note the interest the public were taking in the club’s energies, as the club is endeavouring to proride as much entertainment for both old and young as circumstances permit. The euchre was followed by a dance when about 40 couples took the floor. The music which was provided locally by Miss B. Cushnie and Miss Olive Smith and Mr H. Wixon was greatly appreciated.
