SOME EXCITEMENT

THE BIG LYNX DRAM’S THE CROW’D. When W. George and Company offered two Lynx suits valued at £8 each free to the first persons they would fit, they little realised the excitement they would cause. Early on Friday morning some fifty odd people were lined up outside Lynx Suit Headquarters in anticipation of a free suit; great was the speculation as to who was going to be the lucky size. In order to give everyone a fair chance numbered tickets were issued as the people entered the store. No. 1 prowl to be a perfect fit for the first suit size N 37. Two, 3 and 4 were unfortunate in that the second suit was a larger size N4O. No. 5, however, proved to be the lucky one, the suit fitting him perfectly. The large number of disappointed applicants were each given one of our latest Knitted Ties, so that no one was turned away empty handed. Yesterday proved that Lynx suits are still the popular fancy, for we sold a record number —in fact yesterday was our best day for suits since we have been in business, and in every case the demand was for our high grade English Worsteds. Today we hope to do still better and we think we will have no difficulty in obtaining our object—to sell 40 suits. During this week 30/- English Hats are being given away free at Lynx Suit Headquarters to every purchaser of one of our Worsted Suits. If you are unable to call, send a deposit and call later. W.
