WAR SACRIFICE COMMEMORATED. TABLET TO BE UNVEILED. (Rec. 7.30 p-m.) London, October 14. The Prince of Wales, immediately preceding the opening of the Imperial Conference, will on October 19 unveil the Imperial war graves tablet in Westminister Abbey, commemorating the Empire’s million dead. The tablet is of plaster enclosed in a stone frame similar to those in French and Belgian cathedrals and measures 5 feet 10 inches by 2 feet 10 inches and bears in gilded and coloured relief the arms of Britain and the dominions.—A. and N.Z.
