CONSUMERS of Gas and Electricity are hereby notified that the Resolution requiring deposits of £1 to be lodged on Gas and Electricity Meters has been rescinded, and that deposits on hand will be refunded on production of original receipt, excepting such as are held under the following Regulation, which remains in force: “That where accounts for gas or electricity (as the case may be) are not paid in full within seven days after discount day, the supply may be cut off without notice other than the demand for payment, and not re-connected until the account is paid in full; and 'that in such cases a deposit of £1 must be lodged as security before a fresh supply is granted.” F.
