SALONIKA FORCES
MEMORIAL UNVEILED. Athens, September 26. General Sir George MacDonagh, in the presence of a distinguished English and Greek company, unveiled at Salonika a war memorial to the British forces. The monument is a massive pylon 40 feet high, erected on Colonial Hill, overlooking Lake Doiran. Wreaths were afterwards laid at the foot of the monument, including too from the King and Queen,—A.
