BADLY SHAKEN
CONSTABLE CHARGED BY BULLOCK. OPPOSITION TO REGULATIONS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 16. Constable Morrison, the motor police patrol on the Hutt Road, has been rigid in the enforcement of traffic regulations, his efforts being well seconded by motorists. Yesterday, however, Morrison met with unexpected opposition. He was going quietly along the road and met a mob of bullocks, one of which apparently took umbrage at the idea of regulations, for it charged the police cyclist, who was badly shaken in the resultant rough and tumble, but otherwise escaped injury. The cycle was badly damaged.
