FAMILY TRAGEDY
MURDER AND SUICIDE. A MADMAN’S ACTION. Sydney, June 14. Walter Beer, aged 28, his wife, aged 26, and his daughter, aged 3, were found dead, as the result of bullet wounds, at their home in Penshurst. The police are satisfied that Beer, who has been in bad health for some time as the result of war experiences, become demented and shot his wife and daughter and then himself.—A. and N.Z.
