FROZEN MEAT TAX
FRANCE INCREASES LEVY. Melbourne, June 14. Mr Bruce has been advised from London that the tax now levied on frozen meat imported by France will be increased from id to approximately id per lb in July next. This increase favours Argentina, which is under a reciprocal trade treaty with France, and pays oaky id per lb taxr-A. and JLZ.
