HUGE SUM FOR PARTY. A CONDITIONAL OFFER London, June 13. The Evening News discloses that at a liberal candidates’ meeting on June 12 it was reported that a Liberal peer had offered to contribute £1,000,000 to the Liberal Party funds, on condition that Mr Lloyd George should no longer be associated with the party. lively exchanges are expected at the forthcoming conference of the National liberal Federation, which Lord Oxford and Asquith and Mr Lloyd George will attend. —Sun Cable.
