SCIENTIFIC EXPEDITION FINANCED. FALKLAND ISLANDS PROJECT. London, June 13. The whaler, William Coresby, manned by a crew of thirty-three, including Edmund Semper, who was formerly associated -with Shackleton’s and Peary’s Polar expeditions, is departing from Hull on a South Pole scientific expedition, which the Falkland Islands Government is financing.—Sydney Sun Cable.
