STEAMERS COLLIDE
SEVERAL SEAMEN DROWNED. VESSELS IN DISTRESS OFF CHILI COAST. (Rec. 10.25 p.m.)‘ Valparaiso (Ch ill), June 11. Several seamen were drowned when two coastwise steamers collided during a gale near Valparaiso. Many small vessels are believed to have foundered and further loss of life is feared. —A. & N.Z.
