The first day of the Waikato R.C.’s Autumn meeting, was held at Te Rapa to day in fine but windy weather. The course was in good but slightly holding order. There was a good attendance. The totalisator investments amounted to £29,551 10s, as compared with £26,585 10s on the opening day of last season, an increase of £2966.
