LABOUR PARTY
CONFERENCE AT WANGANUI. MR SEMPLE ELECTED PRESIDENT. (Par United Press Association.) Wanganui, April 6. The conference of the New Zealand Labour Party was continued at Wanganui to-day. The business included the presentation of the Parliamentary report which was adopted and a discussion of means whereby farmers and Labour could be brought closer together. It was decided that a permanent committee by set up to deal with this. Mr R. Semple was elected president. ___________
