KILLED BY SHARK
TRAGEDY NEAR ADELAIDE. WOMAN TERRIBLY INJURED. Adelaide, Mar. 19. A shark tragedy occurred at Brighton when Mrs Primrose White, formerly a swimming instructress, preparatory to giving lessons to a number of children assembled at the end of the pier, went for a swim by herself and was attacked by a shark. Two men went to the rescue in a boat, and when they reached her she had been badly torn about the body, one thigh being almost bitten away. She died on the way to hospital.—A. & N.Z.
