ALTITUDE OF 10 TO 12 MILES. AIRTIGHT AEROPLANE. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, Mar. 18. The Daily Express states that realising the next air war will be fought at a height of 10 to 12 miles, the Air Force is experimenting with artificial conditions representing air at great heights. The experiments show the new supercharging devices enable a 2,450 horse-power engine to develop full power.
