BUY BRITISH GOODS

Anderson made a strong appeal for the purchase of British goods, instancing particularly the large sums of money sent abroad for motor cars. “If you have to buy these blessed cars, buy them from Britain.” Of every pound that went to America, 18/- of it had to be in cash, for they did not want our produce and put up a barrier against it, but if the money went to England it came back, because they bought our t produce.
