SCHOOL CHILDREN
ACCOMMODATION PROBLEM. INQUIRY AT GISBORNE. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, Mar. 18. By instruction of the Minister of Education an inquiry is to be held on the question at issue between the Hawke’s Bay Education Board and suburban parents, and a report is to be obtained on accommodation at the Gisborne Central School which the board alleges is inadequate for the number of pupils attending the school. The board has been informed by the Minister that pupils turned away from the Gisborne school must be reinstated until full reports have been received.
