NORTH OTAGO SHOW.
DECREASE IN ENTRIES. GOOD QUALITY STOCK. (Per United Press Association.) OAMARU, November 26. The 62nd annual show of the North Otago A. and P. Association opened to-day in fine but cold weather. Though there is a falling off in the number of entries, the quality of stock is remarkably good. Championships:—Sheep: Border Leiceaters, ram, H. Ruddenklau; ewe, R. J. Low. Corriedales: Ram, L Andrew; ewe, J. A. Johnstone. Southdowns: Ram and ewe, H. J. Andrew. Cattle: Shorthorn bull and cow, J. A. Johnstone. Ayrshire: Bull, J. Frew; cow, C. J« Cowan.
Friesian: Bull and cow, J. Briggs. Jersey: Bull, Murray and Martin; cow, R. Maddren.
