BIG MOVEMENT INAUGURATED EUROPEAN POWERS COMBINE. SECRET ORGANISATION. (By Telegraph.—Frees Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 8. (Received May 8, 7.15 p.m.) There are indications all over Europe of a movement against Bolshevist and Communist agitators. Supervision throughout Britain is also being greatly stimulated as the result of Sir William Joynson-Hick’s investigations. The French authorities are also adopting more drastic measures. The most significant movement, however, is reported by the Belgrade correspondent of the Morning Post who understands that a great conference has been held at Trieste at which an Internationa Anti-Bolshevik League was inaugurated. It is stated that the group of European represented involved a membership of 25,000,000.. The correspondent is informed that the campaign will start with the formation of a secret organisations similar to those of the Communists, which will be ready at any time to counteract Communist action. It is known that Bulgaria and Jugoslavia have been negotiating for joint action since the Sofia outrage.
