FUGITIVES ARRESTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 6. Three of the Stroud fugitives were arrested when hiding beneath a - hedge near Painswick. They are aged nineteen, nineteen, and seventeen respectively. The two who were killed were aged twentysix and twenty-four. All five belonged to Camberwell, London. LATER. Three of those arrested in connection with the Stroud affair are described as waiters. They are William Gearing (eighteen), Frederick Carnyf seventeen), and Claude Hunter (nineteen). They were charged with stealing a motor car at Painswick. The accused were most affected on learning of the death of their companions. I They were remanded.
