EASY WAY TO MAKE PIES AND PUDDINGS. The next time you contemplate making some pastry or pudding, instead of getting a supply of suet from the butcher, go to your grocer and ask for a packet of “Shreddo.” You’ll be surprised how much better your cooking will be, and the big saving in labour and expense that “Shreddo” enables you to make. Yet “Shreddo” is just the purqpt of beef suet, with all the skin and tissue removed. Here's an easy recipe for Plain Suet Puddings:—• Ingredients: 11b flour, large teaspoon baking powder, pinch of salt, and 6oz of “SHREDDO.” Mix flour, b.p. and salt, then add “Shreddo”; moisten with water to stiffen paste; steam for 2 hours. You have no cleaning and chopping suet, for “Shreddo” pours from the packet, and ‘‘Shreddo” in puddings makes them deliriously light and wholesome. Your grocer keeps “Shreddo” in hygenic parchment lined lib packets. (Advt.)
