Then pour backwards and forwards into cup two or three times to settle Coffee, because Coffee rises to top. Then add boiling milk and let stand until settled. Quantity of milk to be used is a matter of taste, but half milk and haff water makes nice Coffee. Be liberal with Coffee. Pure Coffee makes the best flavoured drink (not so strong as Coffee and Chicory). A pinch of salt when making improves the flavour.
