AMUNDSEN’S FLIGHT
ASSISTANCE FROM NORWEGIAN GOVERNMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright., (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) OSLO, March 14. The State has printed 2,250,000 stamps showing a polar bear looking upward towards an aeroplane. The Government has placed 180,000 kroners’ worth at the disposal of the Air and Shipping Union on behalf of Captain Amundsen’s fund for a flight to the Antarctic.
