FRUIT CONTROL BOARD
ELECTION OF MEMBERS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 27. The poll for the election of two Nelson and Marlborough district representatives on the New Zealand Fruit Control Board resulted today as under:— Brash, T. C 110 Stephens, H. E 93 Cfellaghan, Patrick 44 Stewart, Joseph 33 Messrs Brash and Stephens were declared elected. Voters on the roll totalled 233, and 140 voting papers were returned, the number of no”-voters thus being 93. Mr H. G. Izard (Auckland-Taranaki district) ,Mr A. M. Robertson (Hawke’s BayWellington area) were elected unopposed. Two Government representatiives have yet to be appointed.
