(Supplied by General Post Office.) THURSDAY, JANUARY 29. Mails for Australia, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlement, Egypt, South Africa, etc., close at C.P.O. on Thursday, January 29, at 5.25 a.m., for despatch by rhe S.S. Maheno, from Wellington to Sydney. Owing to the re-arrangement of the transPacific steamer services, there will be no outward San Francisco mail until February 28. The next despatch for and via North America will be the Vancouver* mail, closing at Invercargill on Saturday, February 14, at 5.25 a.m. G. R. COOPER, Chief Postmaster.
