The Kahika arrived yesterday morning from Greymouth, and after discharging coal, sailed in the evening for Dunedin. The Corinthic is expected to sail to-day for Timaru to continue loading for the United Kingdom. The Karetu is due at Lyttelton about next Wednesday from Sydney and also discharges at Dunedin, Oamaru and Bluff. She is due here about January 30 and next day proceeds to Sydney direct. The Port Melbourne, from New York via Wellington and Lyttelton, is now at Dunedin and later comes to Bluff. She is due here on Tuesday to load frozen meat, dairy produce and general cargo for London. She sails about the end of next week for Lyttelton and Wellington. The Whangape left Newcastle last Monday with coal for Bluff and Oamaru. She is due here on Monday and will sail about Wednesday for Oamaru. The Calm is due at Bluff on Wednesday next with cargo from Lyttelton, and is to sail the same day for Dunedin and northern ports. The Somerset is due at Bluff on March 9 from Brisbane to load 11,000 crates of cheese, 3000 boxes of butter, 14,000 carcases of meat, and general cargo for London. The Canadian Challenger is due at Auckland about March 4 to load for New York Boston and Montreal. She will also pick up cargo at Napier, Lyttelton, Bluff, Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland again. The vessel is expected to sail finally from Auckland on April 1. The Port Denison, which is due at Auckland on January 31 from London, will discharge at Lyttelton. She will then come to Bluff to commence Homeward loading. The vessel's other loading ports are Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and Auckland. She will sail finally from Auckland about March 12 for London, via Montevideo. THE ORETL The Oreri arrived at Invercargill yesterday from Port Craig, and after discharge returns there to-day to load timber for Dunedin. THE MELBOURNE SERVICE. The Manuka is to leave Wellington early next week for Melbourne. She then returns to Bluff on is due here on February 9, sailing the same day for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Melbourne. The Port of London Authority announces a reduction of all dock charges by 74 per cent, commencing from February. It is understood that all cold stores in London will make a similar reduction.
