ANNUAL PICNIC AND SPORTS. (From our Correspondent.) There was a good attendance at the Otaitai Bush picnic on Wednesday, all parts of the district being represented, and a good afternoon’s enjoyment was afforded. Games and races of all kinds were indulged in, and some good prizes wore given. Mr John McCall, as Chairman, proved an energetic and painstaking official, and, in a neat speech, said he hoped all would have a good day’s outing. He was ably supported by the following committee: Messrs J. McIvor, R. Stewart, G. Stewart, Flock, J. Templeton, A. Oag, Wohlers, K. Shea, J. Fleck, and 11. Allison.
