She will leave Wellington early next week for Melbourne, where she is due to-morrow week. With regard to the Moeraki, which has been held up for some time in Melbourne, it was stated by officers of the Manuka that the men who had been imprisoned for refusing to take the ship to sea had been offered their release if they would return to 'the Moeraki, but this they declined to do, preferring to serve their term in gaol rather than go back to the boat. As new crews are practically impossible to obtain in Melbourne at present it seems unlikely that the Moeraki will be despatched until the strike is settled, and no definite sailing date cap be announced.
