SPAIN IN MOROCCO
AN OFFENSIVE BEGUN. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright). LONDON, January 21. (Received January 23, 1 a.m.) A Tangier correspondent reports that the Spanish forces in Morocco have begun an offensive against the revolting Anjera tribesmen. Three Spanish warships operating in the Straits, commenced bombarding the coastal villages, aeroplanes co-operating. Simultaneously Spanish troops are advancing, with the object of assaulting Alcazar Seguin, a Spanish coastal post which the tribesmen captured at the beginning of the revolt.
