WINDFALL FOR POSTAL OFFICIALS. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.), LONDON, December 28. The Government, accepting the legal decision recently given, is paying out £2,000,000 to the Post Office employees, which is described as the world's greatest Christmas box. The Appeal Court decided in favour of the employees in the last of six test cases in connection with the claim of Post Office clerks and telegraphists for full civil pay in addition to the war bonus during their military service.
