MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE
MOTORIST TO STAND TRIAL. (Per United Press Association). AUCKLAND, December 23. Jeffrey Williams Waymouth, a motor salesman, was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of George Bailey, aged 19, who was knocked down by accused’s car at Devonport on December 13. The coroner found Waymouth guilty of negligence in the which he had driven the car just prior to the accident.
