THE CAMERA CONTEST
CLOSING DAY. LARGE NUMBER OF ENTRIES. This is closing day for the Southland Times Camera Competition. The entries are large and it is anticipated that there will be a heavy mail to-day, when the late pictures will come in. Efforts are to be made to complete the judging so that the results will be available for publication next week, and at a later date it will be possible, it s hoped, to publish some of the pictures entered. The quality of the photographs generally is high, and it is anticipated that the section devoted to the Invercargill Camera Club members will produce work unsurpassed in the Dominion. All pictures must be in the office of the Southland Times by 5 o’clock this afternoon.
