KID LEWIS’S AFFAIRS (Sun Cable). LONDON, October 17. Kid Lewis, the well-known boxer, stated in the Bankruptcy Court that his liabilities were £3032 and his assets £l2OO. Under examination, Lewis admitted that for three years his income was £16,950 and his expenditure £lO,OOO. “I put. my fout into it in everything I touched,” said Lewis, “whether it was as a boxing promoter, public-house keeper, revue, horse racing, or cards. I lost £lOOO when negotiations for an Australian tour in March failed. I lost £5OO on one horse race.”
