CHARGE OF MURDER
THE REMUERA TRAGEDY. (Per United Press Association). AUCKLAND, November 6. As a sequel to the tragedy at Remuera cn October 5 when after meeting her husband from whom she was living apart, in the street, Mrs James Simpkin had her throat cut, causing her death, her husband. James Simpkin, who was taken to hospital with severe injuries, also caused by a razor was charge at the Police Court to-day with the murder of his wife. Accused who was remanded for a week, seemed quite composed, but had to be helped down the steps of the Court.
