BLOOD TRANSFUSION
SEEKING VOLUNTEERS. BRISBANE, October 23. The question of forming an organisation for obtaining volunteers for blood transfusion was considered by the Brisbane Hospital Board this morning at the instance of Dr Meyers, honorary assistant surgeon. Di- Meyers wrote stating that it was very difficult to secure volunteers. In a recent case the life of a child would probably have been saved had it been possible to secure someone to give blood. The Board referred the matter to the medical superintendent for advice.
