ARMY AEROPLANES CRASH. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) DELHI, July 30. Four aeroplanes out of six crashed in a fog while carrying out bombing operations on the north-west frontier against tribesmen. Each machine carried a pilot and bomber. The crews of two machines were killed. A third fell into the hands of tribesmen, and the fate of the crew is not known. The fourth crew escaped uninjured. NEW AUSTRALIAN CRUISER. MELBOURNE, July 31. The House of Representatives carried the third reading of the Defence Equipment Bill. Mr Bruce stated that the cost of the cruiser proposed to be built in England would be approximately £2,200,000. NOT REGARDED AS URGENT. SYDNEY, July 31. (Received August 1, 12.50 a.m.) In the Assembly, Mr McTierman moved that his motion of censure be dealt with as a matter of urgency. This was defeated by 39 votes to 29. The motion will now be placed on the business paper, and dealt with in the ordinary way. FRENCH MATCH MONOPOLY. PARIS, July 30. (Received July 31, 11 p.m.) The Chamber of Deputies restored the match monopoly, the abolition of which the Poincare Government forced through Parliament.
