REVIVAL IN SOUTH AFRICA. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) CAPETOWN, July 30. The Premier (Colonel Hertzog), in the course of a speech, stated that there was a possibility of the Union having to take steps to restore the gold standard in advance of Britain. The latter required the advice of experts. The Government therefore proposed speedily to appoint a Committee of Experts to enquire into tjie matter and advise the Government thereon.
