OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE
A JEWELLER CONVICTED. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 30. At the Supreme Court to-day, J. A. Jenness, a jeweller, was acquitted on two charges of the theft of a diamond pendant, but was convicted of obstructing the course of justice, with a strong recommendation for leniency, on the grounds that accused had not acted with the intention of benefiting himself. Sentence was deferred.
