THE MOSUL QUESTION. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) CONSTANTINOPLE, July 8. Replying to the British Note, the Government rejects a proposal to submit the Mosul question to the Council of the League of Nations on the ground that the Treaty of Lousanne is not yet in force. It suggests direct negotiations, expressing the opinion that these will yield better results.
