WRIGHT, STEPHENSON & CO, LTD, VI have received instructions to sell by public auction as above':— Oft—PEDIGREED AYRSHIRE CATTLE Comprising: 25-COWS. 22—2-year-old HEIFERS. 16— YEARLING HEIFERS. 2—2-year-old BULLS. 17— YEARLING BULLS. District Breeders and Dairymen are already well acquainted with the “IVANHOE” Ayrshires, and this sale offers an opportunity of securing some of the best blood in the Dominion. The young bulls are a particularly well grown lot, with exceptional credentials on their sires’ side in IVANHOE BARON” (twice champion at Invercargill) and “WAIPAPA KING RICHARD.” Of the 25 Cows for sale, 15 are in calf to the imported bull “THORNHILL LOYALTY,” who in blood and appearance is an aristocrat of the breed. The balance of the cows and the majority of the two-year-old Heifers are bred tb “IVANHOE DAIRY KING,” who was sold at last Southland Show for a record price to head a leading North Island herd. The remainder of the Heifers are in calf to. “ASHLEY PARK’S ECLIPSE,” the unbeaten yearling at recent shows. Those in possession of Catalogues are kindly requested to bring them to the sale.
