WOOL COMMITTEE
CONTINUATION FAVOURED. (From our Correspondent.) The question as to whether the Wool Committee should be re-appointed was referred to the Board of Agriculture at its meeting last week. The opinion was expressed that the Committee had done very good work in allocating the quantity of wool for sale in each district and that it would be well that it should be continued. A resolution was passed that such a Committee should be set up, consisting of two members to represent the sheepowners to be appointed by the Sheepowners’ Fedration, and the Defence Committee of the Farmers’ Union in the Wellington province, two appointed by the Wool Brokers’ Association, and one farmer to be nominated by the Government,
