SUSPECT ARRESTED
SEQUEL TO POCKET-PICKING AFFAIR. (Per United Press Association.! WELLINGTON, July 7. Three men were concerned in a pocketpicking affair in December last. Two were arrested and one absconded from bail, the other being sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment. This morning Detectives Hunt and Jarrold saw in the street Frederick Courtney, who is believed to be the third man. At the sight of the officers Courtney made off but after a chase was found endeavouring to seek refuge in a house. Courtney was arrested and will appear at Court to-morrow.
