INTERESTING FIND AT TITAHI BAY.
An Echo of the ‘Seventies.’ While engaged on fencing his section at Titahi Bay recently, a Wellington business man made a strange discovery. At a depth of three feet he came across an old biscuit box containing a number of empty bottles wrapped in ' an issue of the London Times dated July, 1870. Curious to relate, the collection included a half empty bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver. Presumably the site had been used as a camping-ground by Imperial troops, though the finder is not certain on this point, it being generally understood that the soldiers were quartered nearer Parem&ta. However, this incident goes to prove that even in those bygone days the sterling worth of “Baxter’s” as a cough and cold remedy was fully appreciated. Ever since 1869 “Baxter’s” has been giving gratifying relief to all sufferers from throat, chest and lung troubles. It is a rich, red, warming, soothing compound that does you good from the first dose. Pbsseses wonderful tonic properties. Get a bottle from grocer or chemist to-day. Price 2/6; family size, 4/6. PILES—‘INSTANT RELIEF.” “Your treatment is wonderful. It gave instant relief, and the first lot cured me.” Thus concisely writes a Fielding resident. He adds: “You don’t know how thankful I am that I noticed your advertisement.” Pile sufferers will appreciate exactly why letters to the Zann Proprietary stress gratitude so strongly. The Zann Double Absorption Treatment banishes blind, bleeding, itching, internal and protruding piles, and benefits when operations are impossible. Beware, however, of substitute treatments.
