TEST FOR TREATY

EUROPE WATCHING ALBANIA (Sun Special.) LONDON, June 12. The fighting in Albania is of more than used interest to observers of European politics. since it provides a first-rate test of the value of the new treaty between Italy and Yugo-Slavia. The success of the insurgents would, says the Prague correspondent of the Times, presumably meet with the approval of Italy, while the Albanian Government has the favour of Yugo-Slavia. None the less, the Yugo-Slav Government takes the view that there is no ground for intervention. It does not mean to interfere itself and hopes that Italy will take the same’ line It hopes, too, that if intervention should become necessary, it will be made through the League of Nations.
