The Daily Mail states that Mr Cochran is disgusted with the treatment meted out to the Rodeo and intends retiring from theatrical entertaining when the contests end. He declares: “Showmanship must not exercise imagination. We Englishmen are hypocrites.” Mr Cochran has received further summonses.
