Colonel Lindsey, an American, addressing the British Legion, said that he hoped Britain w'ould send the Prince of Wales to attend the American Legion’s next »onference. He would be an unequalled ambassador of peace, and would receive a welcome greater than would ever be extended to a foreigner, because he represented all the line qualities which English-speaking Americans admired and loved.
