UNITED STATES PARTICIPATION. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON. May 6. (Received May 7, 7.25 p.m.) Senator Swanson, a Democrat from Virginia, will introduce in the Senate a resolution providing for American participation in a World Court with reservations as recommended by Mr C. E. Hughes (Secretary of State) chief of which states that such adhesion to the Court shall not be taken to involve legal relation on the part of the United States to the League of Nations or an assumption of any obligation by the United States under the Covenant of the League.
